About

The Christmas season lasts 12 days, starting on Christmas Eve and continuing through to Epiphany on January 6th. This is in accordance with the traditional liturgical calendar of the Church. To continue our celebration of Christ as the Light of the World, we invite you to join us for a special Christmas Tree Bonfire at Parque Mission Bay in Mission Bay on Sunday, December 28th, at 10:00 AM. This gathering will be a time of worship, reflection, and fellowship as we commemorate the light of Christ in our lives. Bring your family and friends, beach chairs and blankets, and let’s celebrate together by the fire!

Scripture Passage: John 1:1-5, 9, 14

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it… The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world… The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.

Reflection Points:

  1. Light Enters Darkness

  2. Light Reveals

  3. Light is Shared
